Curriculum

Pablo López Luz is a photographic artist based in México City. After studying his MA in Visual Arts at New York University / ICP in 2006, he moved back to his home country to pursue his photographic career.

His work has been internationally recognized having solo exhibitions at Museo El Eco, Museo del Chopo, Botanique,  Arroniz Arte Contemporáneo and Centro Fotográfico Álvarez Bravo. He has also participated in collective exhibitions at Photographer´s Gallery, Fondation A Stitching, Fondation Cartier pour l´art Contemporain, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, International Center of Photography New York,  National Gallery of Canada in OttawaMuseo de Arte Moderno México and Palacio de Bellas Artes, as well as Rose Gallery (L.A.) and Sasha Wolf Gallery (N.Y.).

His awards include MAST Foundation Photography, Les Résidences de Photoquai, The Syngenta Photography Award, Alt+1000 Photography Award, IILA Photography Award.

Public and Private Collections have acquired his work including the SFMOMA, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Denver Museum of Arts, National Gallery of Canada, Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Fondation A. Stitching, Poniatowsky photography collection, Fondation Hermés, Perez Museum, Museum of Modern Art Mexico, Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC), CALOSA collection.
