Tegeder´s work employs strategies connected to Post-Minimalism and Twentieth-Century abstraction, often utilizing mathematical, architecturical or demographic data to produce an ever-evolving visual vocabulary. The interplay and tension between her rigorous compositional values of specific elements of this vocabulary often become the basis for a variety of formal and conceptual explorations. Tegeder´s works often address the subjects such as utupianism, american popular culture and social issues, while her formal concerns center on the association between hard data and the formalist tradition.
